General Rules
All content must be focused on a topic that is of interest to those who are Star Wars fans who dislike the Mara Jade character.
The content of the Spacemara.com Web Site is for all ages. Sexually explicit material and language of a higher than PG rating will not be allowed on the site, chatroom, or bulletin board. Links to sites with mature content are allowed, but we'd like to add a notice with the link indicating that it is for mature audiences (please let us know, it'll make our lives easier!).
All written content will be edited for spelling, grammar, consistency, and sometimes length (depending on space available).
All content on the site remains the property of the creator (except of course the characters themselves that belong to Lucasfilm and it's licensees). If your submission is published elsewhere, please inform us so we can link to another site that promotes your work, or let us know if you'd like us to remove your piece.
Spacemara.com reserves the right to reject a submission based on these criteria and those listed below.

Writing Reviews
Reviews must be written from the point of view of how it would appeal to a Star Wars fan who dislikes the Mara Jade character.
Copy should run no more than 300 words in length. Less is always preferred to conserve space.
Review should indicate if a publication or piece of artwork is for "all ages" or "mature readers"
A graphic is welcome (200wx300h pixels - .gif or .jpg format)
Copy should be supplied in MS Word or in the body of an email message (ASCII). If using email, please indicate bold with *asterisks* around the bolded words or _underline_ around those word that should be italicized.
Submissions should be single-spaced, with double space between paragraphs.
Please include credits of any creators (artist, writer, editor, penciller, inker, etc.) and the name of the publisher.

Writing Articles, Poems and Stories
Articles must be about a topic that would appeal to a Star Wars fan who dislikes the Mara Jade character.
Copy for articles should run no more than 1500 words in length. Less is always preferred to conserve space. Stories and poems will be made available in a downloadable format depending on length.
Graphics to accompany your submission are welcome (200wx300h pixels - .gif or .jpg format). Please keep in mind that it needs to be PG. We will link to sites with mature content.
Copy should be supplied in MS Word or in the body of an email message (ASCII). If using email, please indicate bold with *asterisks* around the bolded words or _underline_ around those words that should be italicized.

Please include publication date, month, publisher and year of the publication if making allusions to specific publications in your article or credit a creator if you quote them (i.e., include footnotes - it's always nice).

Submitting Art
Art must be about a topic that would appeal to a Star Wars fan who dislikes the Mara Jade character.
No sexually explicit material may be displayed on this site. If you want us to link to a site that contains material for mature audiences, we will do so with a notation that it is intended for mature audiences.
Art should be sent to us digitally as a .jpg or .gif no more than 300 x 300 pixels in size.
Please give us the credit under which you'd like the item listed, and the title.
